Perfect Engineering Pty Ltd was approached by the client to come up with a design and construct engineered solution (Bespoke fabricated solution) for Milsons Point and 12 other wharves in Sydney by providing steel formwork in order that these wharf decks may be individually precast then transported to the relevant sites for final installation. Photos below show in sequence the steps and methodology taken to design, fabricate and finally erect/construct on site the final formwork structure ready for concrete pouring.
The abovementioned project was a great success, and were completed in a shorter period than expected. The period for construction was extremely short, and there was minimal disruption, dust, noise to employees due to careful planning and control. Attention to OH&S and environmental issues had to be adhered to strictly as in all projects.
